The Dodge Challenger is one of America's favorite muscle cars. The Challenger is known for athletic driving and the monstrous horsepower under its hood. Available in nine trims, the Challenger has great fuel efficiency for a high-performance vehicle.
When it comes to gas mileage, the Challenger is not like a compact commuter sedan. But for its category, there are some great options when it comes to fuel economy. With rear wheel drive, the SXT and GT get a combined 23 mpg, getting 30 on the highway and 19 in the city. The RT, Scat Pack and Scat Pack Widebody get a combined 18 mpg. SRT trims, including the Hellcat Widebody, get a combined 16 mpg.
Trims configured with all-wheel drive are slightly less fuel efficient. For example, the AWD SXT gets a combined 22 mpg, with 27 on the highway and 18 in the city. At DeMontrond Auto Country, we love showing the Challenger off to Conroe's drivers.
