What's New with the 2024 Jeep Gladiator?
The Jeep Gladiator has been refreshed for the new model year. Now, the model offers a rounder grille and a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen on every trim. Jeep has even added several new wheel designs and a windshield-integrated antenna. They've also discontinued the diesel V-6, leaving the gas-powered 3.6-liter V-6 as the only engine.
Joining the lineup this year are two new trims - the Mojave X and Rubicon X. These new models offer additional equipment, like steel bumpers and 12-way power-adjustable leather seats, from their existing trims. There are also added side curtain airbags for front and rear passengers as standard equipment across the board.

The new Jeep Gladiator now only has one engine option, a 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, though an eight-speed automatic is optional.
With this single engine, the Gladiator offers impressive hauling and towing capabilities. When properly equipped, the Gladiator can tow up to 7,700 pounds and pull a maximum of 4,000 pounds. Those looking to carry heavy payloads will find that cargo beds can carry between 1,105 and 1,700 pounds.
Fuel Economy
According to the EPA, models equipped with standard manual transmission are estimated to get around 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. However, drivers who opt for the automatic gearbox will see an increase to its estimated city gas mileage to 17 mpg, but it will dip in its highway gas mileage to 22 mpg.
Interior & Technology
As you enter the Gladiator, you'll discover an upright dashboard that imitates the Wrangler's design and supports user-friendly controls. There's a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus several USB and USB-C ports attached to the monitor.
The cabin also incorporates durable materials throughout, like a waterproof push-button start, and there are convenient features like a heated steering wheel and heated front seats for a taste of luxury. An eight-speaker audio system is also standard on this model, and this can be upgraded with an optional subwoofer and portable wireless speaker behind the back seat for those who want to enjoy their music inside or outside the cabin.

Though across the board, Jeep has made side-curtain airbags for first- and second-row passengers a standard feature across the board.
